Setting
up BT TwinTalk as a Mini Business System
You can use
your BT TwinTalk as a Mini Business System in your office or home to provide
a number of the features normally only found on an expensive office telephone
system. These features include:
- Direct Dial
In - you can allocate the two telephone numbers which are available on your
line to separate departments, or people. Your contacts and customers will
be able to dial straight to the department, or person, to whom they need
to talk.
- Line Sharing
and Privacy - TwinTalk GuardCall will ensure that if one person is using
the line, they will not be interrupted by the other extension. Two numbers
share the cost of one line.
- Automatic
transfer of unanswered calls. - when one person or department is unable
to answer calls at their extension then after ten seconds of ringing the
other extension will start to ring as well. The call can be answered and
a message taken giving your customers and contacts a professional service.
